Internal part connections?

Is there a way to tell horizon that two pads are connected internally and don’t need a separate trace?

For example with this push button https://www.ckswitches.com/media/2728/pts815.pdf there are 4 pads but only 2 connections are needed as they’re connected internally.

I don’t want to break the ground plane below the data traces.

Edit: Or should I create a separate switch symbol with 4 pins?

There’s a feature for exactly that  Board Editor — horizon-eda 1.0 documentation

Sweet, that works perfectly. Thank you!

@lukas is there a way to make this work with holes?

I have a board with separate signal and earth grounds. The mounting holes should go to earth and are connected externally via the frame its mounted to but I can’t figure out how to tell horizon to short them?

Right now, there is no such feature. In the future, we might be able to solve this with waiving rule violations.
