Question: How to create an isolated hole for a screw?

Hello,

I need a hole for a mounting screw (M3) inside a copper plane. The whole screw should be isolated against the plane or other copper, so there should be no copper close to the screw (no pad, no via, etc.). In Eagle I have done this with keepout layers. How can this be realized in Horizon?

By the way: Very nice program! Thank You!

Best regards

Ralf

Use the “place hole” tool with the padstack “Circular mechanical Hole”. You can set the NPTH-plane clearance using the “copper - other” rule.
