Snap components to CAD drawing

I am making a replacement board for a device with multiple buttons and leds. I made a CAD drawing with all the dimensions where components need to be. What would be the best way to import the CAD drawing into Horizon EDA so I can place all the components in the right places.

You can use the DXF import tool to put the drawing on the top notes layer or so.

It does not seem to work as I would expect it. When I try to import, but I’m getting: ‘Unsupported items: 18 circles’ message.

Just to be sure that file is right: I can open the dxf with Free online CAD Viewer. View AutoCAD DWG/DXF, HPGL PLT, SVG, CGM, STEP, IGES, STL, SAT (ACIS®), Parasolid (x_t, x_b), SolidWorks ™ (sldprt) files in web

Btw, is there a way to edit the title of the thread?

The latest commit adds support for importing circles.

There should be an edit button next to it.

Thanks! This works nicely, components, and holes, snap to centers of each circle from the imported dxf file.
