Pool Share/Backup

Hi,

What is the correct way to share a pool between 2 or more workstations ? Especially if one or more are not connected to internet.

Simply copying entire pool directory, gives multiple errors of duplicate UUID & others and Horizon specifically telling that sharing DB is not allowed. These errors are also propagated to projects if I try to sync project-pool with newly copied pool.

I think same issues might occur if I do local backup & restore of pool.

So what is the correct way of sharing pool ?

It works to keep the pool under version control, perhaps using git. If you synchronize you might want to not sync the files noted in the .gitignore.
